Hogwarts Legacy, where YOU are the wizard

Published for the first time in 1997, the world-famous series entitled Harry Potter completely amazed thousands of people around the globe. With his adaptation on the big screen in 2001, its popularity skyrocketed more than ever.

Through the years, a diversity of merch has honoured and cultivated the series' fame; in fact, we've seen plushies, dolls, figurines, wands, costumes, shirts, scarves, deserts, board games, and video games.

Talking about Harry Potter themed video games, did you hear about the upcoming 2023 Hogwarts Legacy? Fans are truly excited about this all-new and unique video game, but an announcement by the producing company has brought out quite a controversy.

*Despite everything, it's still you*

From Call of Duty to League of Legends, first-person shooters are one of the most popular video game categories. After all, immersing yourself in a fictive world battling enemies, and saving the innocents is quite entertaining. But do we really need all that violence to feel satisfied?

Lots of peaceful games, such as farming simulators or RPGs, will have smaller fandoms and less public recognition. Although there is one game that somewhat broke that rule. A game that united peace and war in a playful mess of a game.

Well, welcome back to my very own nerdy blog! Today, I will be presenting to you Undertale a silly and creative game that impacted the gaming community with its awesome story and unique game elements.

If you want to learn more on the subject, you should take a look at this interesting NPR article!

Oh! And if you want to immerse yourself a little, I highly suggest you listen to Fallen Down, my favorite soundtrack from the game.

Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, A Widely Influenced Anime

A few manga panels from the
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Manga

During the pandemic, we were all confined and had all the time in the world to lay back and enjoy our favorite TV shows and movies. New pearls of the cinematic world were also discovered by hundreds of people. Personally, I discovered anime, a genre defined by Japanese animated series, often based on mangas (think about a comic book, but Japanese). Fun fact about mangas, they actually read from right to left and the book is manufactured "upside-down"!

On that note, welcome to my very first blog entry. This time, I will be briefly introducing you to my favorite anime entitled Jojo's Bizarre Adventure. The storyline of this show is quite complicated and intricate, as it has multiple small details and explanations scattered around the different episodes. Therefore, even though my source explains some elements of the plot, I will instead be focusing on the influence of pop culture found in Jojo, as well as its history.
