Published for the first time in 1997, the world-famous series entitled Harry Potter completely amazed thousands of people around the globe. With his adaptation on the big screen in 2001, its popularity skyrocketed more than ever.
Through the years, a diversity of merch has honoured and cultivated the series' fame; in fact, we've seen plushies, dolls, figurines, wands, costumes, shirts, scarves, deserts, board games, and video games.

A brief summary of the article
Described as "an immersive, open-world, action roleplaying game set in the 1800s wizarding world, which puts players at the centre of their own adventure", Hogwarts Legacy is bringing Harry Potter games to a whole new level! The game will be released in February of 2023 and is currently being developed by Avalanche Software.
With its nearby debut, lots of features are being put in the spotlight; from class attendance to taming and mounting magical creatures, without forgetting all of the spells and potions, this game includes many details and aspects of the series. Although, even with all these fantastic elements, one omission is deeply upsetting fans... Quidditch is not a playable sport in this game...
My opinion on the subject
Personally, the fact that Quidditch won't be playable isn't a bother for me. When I first saw the trailer, all I could do was smile at the anticipation of an OPEN-WORLD Harry Potter game where YOU create your own story! In fact, in other games based on this series, the player is incarnating one of the main characters of the universe. The idea of being able to customize my own experience in Hogwarts is an exciting one, that's for sure.
With the amazing graphics showcased by the trailer, the multiple elements revealed by the development team, and the customizable character aspect of the game (things like designing your own character and their house), it is remarkably easy for me to pass over this small issue!
Let's just say that I surely won't be part of the boycotting group, if there ever is one!
In the article, what is brought up to explain how important Quidditch is to the wizarding world?
